« Directed by TikTok » is a highly ambitious UGC (User-Generated Content) contest launched by Prime Video in France. The concept was simple: first, we wrote a script specifically designed for TikTok, featuring the renowned influencer Freddy Gladieux. Next, we recorded it with iconic French voice-over comedians. Finally, we provided people with only the sound—no accompanying images. It was up to the users to interpret and direct the story in their own unique ways. Whether through live-action shoots, animation, or puppetry, there were no restrictions. Over 100 individuals took their first step into the entertainment industry by directing their very own short films.
