Café Joyeux – No filter

January 2025Publicis Conseil

Most brands talk about inclusion. Café Joyeux actually handed over the mic.
With ‘No Filter’, full control of their social media was given to their employees with intellectual or developmental disabilities. No script. No approval process. Just real people saying what they wanted, how they wanted dancing, joking, making coffee. It was completely different from the usual polished and filtered content from brands. And that was the point. This idea went beyond the content, focusing on who got to create it: whose voices get heard, and what happens when you stop curating people to fit into a brand image and start letting them shape it. It broke the mold of who gets to represent a brand, and what creativity and visibility can look like. This led to a spike in impressions, engagement, and sales. Café Joyeux showed how, when you stop filtering people out, you start letting real change in.
